One of the largest beaches in Maui is Makena Beach State Park, which is about two thirds of a mile long. Kahana Beach Park is located in Central Maui and is known for its excellent windsurfing conditions. Hookipa Beach Park is located in East Maui, and is another popular spot for windsurfing. Hana Beach Park is very popular as a swimming beach for both tourists and locals.
